Firing Service

A dependable firing service for ceramic artists and hobbyists, our Kiln Firing Service offers consistent, high-quality results in a small-studio environment. Whether you're working on personal projects or developing your practice, this service is designed to provide peace of mind and professional care throughout the firing process.

Located in Bulimba, Brisbane, we offer both bisque and midfire glaze firings, using a well-maintained kiln and carefully monitored schedules to ensure even, reliable results.

Firing Options
• Bisque Firing – up to 1000°C
• Midfire Glaze Firing – up to 1220°C

Pricing
• $50 per kiln shelf (approx. 40cm x 40cm x 15cm)
• Each shelf fits approximately 10 small cups or equivalent volume
• Minimum booking: 1 full shelf

Important Firing Conditions
To maintain the safety and integrity of our firings, the following conditions apply:
• No homemade or untested glazes will be accepted
• Each piece must be clearly labeled with:
 – Your name
 – Contact number
 – Intended firing temperature
• A clear photo of all pieces must be submitted at the time of booking
• Unlabeled or undocumented work will not be fired

How to Book
To request a kiln booking, please fill in the enquiry form below, including, number of shelves required and preferred drop off dates and times. Once your request is accepted, you’ll receive a confirmation message with detailed drop-off instructions and your allocated firing window.
